Alejandro Scasso
R&DAlejandro joined Amarin in 1996 and currently serves as R&D Manager, leading the development of the company’s products. He has authored publications in the transdermal field and holds several patents in this area. Over his career, he has conducted technology transfers in India and led scale-up processes in the United States and Europe. Together with his team, he has developed improved and more efficient generic versions of Fentanyl, Rivastigmine, Buprenorphine, Methylphenidate, Selegiline, and topical gels. His group is also responsible for evaluating feasibility and conducting early-stage testing of new developments, ensuring innovation and quality from concept through to product optimization.
